Our Cultural Day

At the cultural assembly people dressed up in their special clothes from different countries.  It was fascinating to see what people would wear.
  • black tee shirts or traditional dresses with marae patterns from New Zealand
  • flowing flower patterns on Filipino shirts and dresses
  • golden beads, shall scarves, whie pants and peacock saris from India
  • the Pasifikas were wearing blue and red lavalavas and dresses
  • huge Mexican hats.
"It felt like I was really in that country!"
"I was nervous because I thought I would be the only one dressing up!"
It felt like a really special occasion and it made me feel like writing about it"
We were really lucky to be able to share each other's costumes and it was really nice to be in a cultural school!
