We were all really exited for the 2nd day of school for term two.We were all learning about ANZAC Day. That's tomorrow and we get a holiday from school! We read a story about when it was Wold War I called Le Quesnoy. After reading the book we had to draw a picture from our visualisation of the story. We also put some symbols on the border and put them all together to create a quilt. Isabelle and Kaleea have been working on the border that's the colours of the French and New Zealand flags. We'll show you a photo of our quilt on Thursday when its finished.
I can see from your illustrations that you were able to picture lots of details from the story. Well done, Room 7!
